NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

Please take notice that three (3) public hearings will be held at the Planning Commission Meeting at the RED RIVER TOWN HALL on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 7:15 PM, and 7:30 PM for the following:

  1. Request by Attorney Abts, on behalf of the Estate of James J. Jonet, Sr., that part of   Parcel 31 018 30.167 described as follows be rezoned from LE Large Estates Residential to RR Rural Residential so that it can be attached to Parcel 30 018 30.1612.

Part of Tax Parcel No. 31 018 30.167: A parcel of land located in the South Half (S½) of the Southeast Quarter (SE¼) of Section Thirty (30), Township Twenty-five (25) North, Range Twenty-three (23) East, Town of Red River, Kewaunee County, Wisconsin, described as follows:

Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section Thirty (30), which is marked by a Kewaunee County Monument; thence West along the section line a distance of 1,523.50 feet; thence North 02°34’55” West 218.00 feet; thence East 200 feet to the point of beginning; thence East 200 feet; thence North 02°34’55” West 49.50 feet; thence West 200 feet; thence South 02°34’55” East 49.50 feet to the point of beginning.

  • Request by Kraig Kinnard, on behalf of Randy J. Kinnard Trust, et al to rezone a part of Parcel 31 018 13.061 described as follows be rezoned from A-1 Prime Agricultural to RR Rural Residential to allow a new lot to be created for a new house.

  • Request by Thomas Stahl to rezone all of Parcel 31 018 30.042 described as follows be rezoned from A-1 Prime Agricultural District   to RR Rural Residential District to allow a new lot to be created for a new house.

Commencing at the East ¼ corner of said section; thence N 8917’ 56” W along the South line of the NE ¼, 264.24 feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing N 8917’ 56” W along the South line of the NE ¼, 642.56 feet; thence N 0207’ 57” W, 330.11 feet; thence S 8917’ 56” E, 642.56 feet; thence S 0207’ 57” E, 330.11 feet to the point of beginning.

Said parcel contains 4.87 acres, more or less.

               Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Town Board may be present at this meeting to gather information about a subject in which they may have future decision-making responsibilities.  All interested parties are invited to attend.
